CNC-L focuses on promoting sustainable livelihood, climate-smart agriculture practices through household activities for increase income through values chains and the provision of tangible incentives to household, and protecting the environment and boosting conservation of biodiversity practices for all people in Liberia.

CNC-L six(6) priorities/programs:

Habitat and wildlife conservation

The program focuses on reforestation and habitat restoration through the restoration of degraded ecosystems through tree planting, wetland restoration, and the removal of invasive species.

Climate change adaptation and mitigation

with a focus on climate-resilient agriculture through the promotion and demonstration of agroforestry, organic farming, and climate-smart agricultural practices to increase food security and reduce environmental impacts.

Urban and peri-urban conversation

Aims on the promotion of the development of urban parks and biodiversity corridors in cities, address urban pollution by promoting waste reduction, recycling programs, cleanup initiatives and encouraging community gardens and tree planting.

Eco-tourism

This is focus on development of nature centers, trails and educational facilities to promote awareness and attract responsible eco-tourism.

Youth Engagement and capacity building

the focus here is on nature clubs, eco-schools establishment and guided nature tours/field trip to foster environmental stewardship among young people; training and capacity building for local conservationists and internship and volunteer initiatives aim at offering opportunities for students, researchers, and volunteers.

Community-based conservation

the focus here is on community engagement and education and promotion of sustainable livelihoods.
